WVUD Mourns Larry Leroy Carr (9/4/1940-11/4/2025)
WVUD mourns the loss of Larry Leroy Carr. Larry joined WVUD in December of 1987 and quickly became a fixture on the air and behind the scenes.
Larry displayed his unique style through his weekly Fine Tuning program. Beloved by listeners and station staff, Larry was almost everyone’s “Favorite Person” at the radio station.
Larry’s loving and caring personality made him an excellent teammate at WVUD and garnered him awards from the radio station as well as the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington.
He will be sorely missed! More info about on-air celebrations of Larry’s life and legacy will be coming soon.
