The Morning Fog: Mark Ellis, Dave Valee, Steve Goddard
Early morning ambience for sleeping or waking - The Morning Fog program presents a wide variety of new age music inspired by many different sources, from classical, international, and space music to acoustic guitar, electronic, jazz, Celtic, and even Native American music. The music you hear on The Morning Fog encompasses an inexhaustible variety of sounds from intimate solo works to grand orchestral pieces. Tune in to music that borrows from so many different musical traditions, periods, and cultures that it transcends time and region. Regardless of release date, these sounds remain new and ageless. Beginning with spiritual and meditative roots, listeners are treated to many well known and new artists, from national labels, as well as many independent and smaller labels and even some local releases. Area community members Mark Ellis, Dave Valee, and Steve Goddard share hosting duties on The Morning Fog, each bringing a diverse range and enjoyment for new age music. Scratchy Grooves: Brian Lee Hart
Scratchy Grooves features the "Era of the 78 RPM Record": the 1890s to 1960.
It features: Ragtime, Blues, Tin Pan Ally, Vaudville, Jazz, Early Bands, Swing, Broadway & Hollywood Show music, and other recordings of this all but forgotten era. The program was created in 1984, by Bill Chambless, who is now deceased. The baton was passed to Brian Lee Hart, who kill keep the nostalgia flame burning.
Brian Lee Hart: Joined WVUD in early 1983 (then WXDR) having been a commercial radio DJ since 1957 on WAMS, WJBR, and others. He plays the music not heard on other radio stations because, "WVUD is the station that remembers." He also guest hosts on several other shows heard on WVUD, when needed. Brian, now retired, lives here in Newark with his wife, Karen. They have been together over 45 years and have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. He has a huge music library, with over a million tunes. Brian is community active, as a Mason (past master), FOP, Vietnam Veterans of America, BPOE, and the DARE program. Brian is also an avid US coin collector and has a trophy winning streetrod.

Roger Holmes presents big bands from the original swing era (1935-1949) plus small instrumental combos and pop vocalists (Crosby, Sinatra, Holliday) and vocal groups (Mills Bros., Ink Spots).
Roger Holmes: Former commercial DJ (WHAT, WIP, WDEL, WAMS) is a veteran of World War II and probaby the oldest active DJ in the state!
