Teddy Gelman, Senior, Gaithersburg, MD

Teddy is thrilled to lead WVUD’s coverage of Blue Hens Athletics. He looks forward to expanding WVUD’s coverage of the National Champion Delaware field hockey team and spearheading WVUD’s partnership with the UD Ice Hockey Team. Teddy hosts WVUD’s flagship sports talk radio show, Blue Hen Sports Cage, Thursdays from 5-7 pm. He is also the Managing Sports Editor for The Review. Teddy is an avid Washington, D.C. sports fan.

 

 

 

Brandon Holveck, Junior, Newark, DE

Communications Major

Brandon is excited to help continue expanding WVUD’s game coverage and online presence in his third year as a member of WVUD’s sports department. Brandon appears regularly on Blue Hen Sports Cage, WVUD’s flagship sports talk radio show, and created the Blue Hen Sports Cage website and podcast. Brandon is a believer in The Process, The FEDS and all things Philadelphia sports.

Ahmed is set to start his 4th season with WVUD. His goal is to bring an exciting, viral atmosphere to the sports program. He also has an associates in sports management.

 

 

 

 

 

Jake Lampert, Sophomore, Commack, NY

Actuarial Science Major

 

Jake is starting his second year with WVUD. Jake is excited to get more involved and support UD athletics. He is a big fan of both the MLB and the NFL.

 

 

 

 

Eric Allen, Senior, Annandale, VA

Meteorology and Climatology Major

 

Eric Allen is entering his 3rd year on the WVUD sports team as the color commentator covering Blue Hens Hockey, hosts Eric’s Igloo on The Blue Hen Sports Cage, and can be heard covering Blue Hens Baseball.  Eric is an avid Pittsburgh sports fan where his Pittsburgh Penguins have won back-to-back Stanley Cups.

 

 

 

 

Nick Cannella, Senior, Eatontown, NJ

Communications Major

Nick is an avid sports fan looking to continue his role in the WVUD’s Sports’Department. He loves rooting for the Mets, Steelers, and Nets. Nick is looking forward to help with the coverage of all of UD’s major sports teams and watching them win!

Michael is excited to continue working with WVUD’s sports department. He enjoys watching any Baltimore sports team (Including their now 8-time Champion Indoor Soccer Team), University of Maryland and University of Delaware sports teams.

 

 

 

 

 

Dan Rosenfield, Sophomore, NJ

Sport Management Major

 

Dan is excited to start his second year at WVUD. He is excited to cover all Delaware sports, especially football, basketball and baseball for the upcoming season. He is an avid Giants, Yankees, and Boston Celtics fan. Dan hosts his own show on the Basement on Wednesdays from 5-6pm.

Sarah is excited to be a part the WVUD Sports team for her second season. She is a huge sports fan, particularly Philadelphia Eagles and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.  Sarah is especially looking forward to the upcoming Blue Hens Football season.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Danny Leddy, Junior, Hillsborough, NJ

dannyDanny is excited to continue his work with WVUD’s sports department. He enjoys watching all sports and loves rooting for the New York Giants, Rangers, and Yankees. Danny is looking forward to the coming season for all Delaware sports, especially football.

 

 

 

 

Hannah Trader, Junior, Hockessin, DE

English Major

 

Hannah is excited to start her first year with the WVUD Sports team and to help contribute to and learn from the program. Hannah roots for all Philly teams, but has also been a fan of the Miami Dolphins since she was a kid. She’s a huge sports fan, with a particular interest in football.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Quinn Ludwicki, Sophomore, Lewes, DE

International Relations Major

 

Quinn is excited to join WVUD’s sports department. He is a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates. He looks forward to increasing student interest in Blue Hen sports this season. Quinn is also a sports reporter for The Review.
